A pre-wedding meeting/consultation is just a posh way of saying “Let’s get together and chat about your awesome wedding!” But it’s a pretty important chat. Keep reading to learn why…

Our pre-wedding meeting is one of the important first steps of the booking process. We can do this in person, or if you’re a bit further away, either over the phone or on Skype is good too. This informal chat gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little better, and to talk about your wedding in more detail before the big day arrives.

As your wedding photographer, there are a number of things that happen throughout the whole experience that might not be completely obvious. So this is my chance to explain to you in more detail things like; what my service includes, what my booking process is, my style of photography, and what happens after your wedding day.

Also, if you have any questions for me, this would be the perfect time to ask them.

Most importantly though, this meeting gives us time to chat and get to know one another a little better. We’ll probably spend most of the meeting just chatting about life, work, hobbies, and kids (furry or human!).

This meeting will help you to determine whether you feel comfortable and relaxed around me, and whether we are a good fit for each other. So that, ultimately, you can decide if I’m the type of person you want constantly hanging round you on your wedding day!

I’m not gonna lie, it can be a bit awkward talking to a stranger at first, but once the conversation starts flowing, you’ll look down at your watch and wonder where the last hour has gone!
