“OMG!!!! We love them!!! Natural pics of beautiful friends and family with huge great grins on their faces!!! Thank you so much!!!”
– Vicki and Daf Edwards
Vicki and Daf got married in November at Aberdeen House in Ramsgate. But this wasn’t any ordinary wedding…
First, they told their families that they were going out for a meal, and then surprised them with a wedding ceremony. Then, they surprised all of their friends with a wedding reception, when they thought they’d been invited to a Greek themed housewarming/birthday party. And finally, they were joined by Elvis (!!) who serenaded them for their first dance!
It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve shot! The day was filled with lots of hugs, lots of laughs and was just the happiest occasion!
Here’s Vicki and Daf’s surprise wedding!
The ceremony was an intimate service with Vicki and Daf’s family at Aberdeen House in Ramsgate.
Daf arrived with the ceremony guests, who were expecting a nice restaurant. Instead, they were happily surprised when they realised they were at a registry office!
There was so much happiness in that room! And it was such a colourful ceremony with everyone wearing leis. Even me and the registrars got involved!
I don’t think my words can do justice to the emotions everyone was feeling, but I think you can tell by the pictures just how loved up these two are!
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to Vicki and Daf’s house to prepare for the Greek themed housewarming/birthday party, or so their guests had been told!
Before all of the evening guests started arriving, Vicki went upstairs to hide. Daf did a great job when each guest that came in was asking where Vicki was. Then, when most of the guests had arrived, she came downstairs…. The look on everyone’s face was priceless!
For dinner they had a Greek style buffet, which was prepared by Vicki and Daf’s friends from Cafe G and was absolutely delicious.
The best part of the day for me had to be when Elvis turned up. No one could believe what was happening and it really got everyone on the dance floor, which resulted in some of my favourite pictures from the day.
At the end of the evening, this incredible day was topped off perfectly by some emotional speeches. And, of course, lots more hugging, kissing and happy tears.

What do you think?
I had an incredible day with Vicki and Daf, and all of their family and friends! Their day was just filled with so much fun, love and good times. It was so infectious! It’s one of the main reasons I love what I do.
